A team of consultants from a Big 3 Consulting firm the reached out to Zintro and several other expert networks for a focus group study with marketing executives. They needed leaders (CMOs, VP Marketing, etc.) at US-based B2C companies with over $100m in annual revenue. The team sought to host 90-minute sessions with five participants each, starting with a product demo and followed by Q&A on features, product positioning, and market appeal. They needed an agile partner to keep up with their fast-paced work.

Solution

The consultants decided to work with Zintro and a kickoff call was scheduled to align on the project details. The plan was to schedule six experts to ensure five or more were present in each group. Zintro started pulling experts from its internal network first and then switched to custom recruitment for the remaining openings. After the first focus group, the team requested Canada be added to the project’s scope, two days before the next group.

Results

The project started strong with nine qualified experts presented within 12 hours of launch. Zintro presented 58 passing experts in total (eight days of recruitment) and allowed the team to choose their favorites. Despite the last-minute geo change and ineligibility of a few experts (replaced within 1-2 days), all four groups were filled with experienced, hand-picked marketing leaders. The focus groups went off without a hitch.
