FAQ

Zintro connects researchers with experts for research projects. Since 2007, we've been connecting groups that need unique insights with those that have the insights. Our specialty is matching people for market research projects.
-
When clients come to us with projects, we set off to find the best fit. This might include an individual's industry experience, tool/service buying history, knowledge about technology, or more. We match our clients with experts that meet their acceptance criteria. The general steps:
1. Apply to become an expert
2. Once accepted as an expert, Zintro will reach out about projects that may be a good fit
3. If you're interested, you can take the qualifying screener (usually 1-3 min)
4. Zintro's project managers will reach out when you're selected for a project and help schedule it with the client
5. Once the call is completed, you'll receive an email about payment options
6. Your funds will be sent to you directly
-
You can contact support@zintro.com at any time for an update on your project status. You can also login to your Zintro account if you have one to see the status of projects you've applied to.
-
Experts typically get paid 3-10 business days after a project. The average is 6 days. Once a call has been completed, expect to see two emails: the first being confirmation of the call occurring from Zintro and the second being an email from Dots with a payment link.
Zintro uses Dots (dots.dev) for most payments as they offer Bank Transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, and Prepaid Visa Gift Cards. We also have Amazon Gift Cards and Payoneer as backups.
Always check your spam folder for Dots emails or Amazon Gift card links. If you would like an update on your payment status, contact our team at support@zintro.com and we'll respond as quickly as possible!

A few things that will set you up for success:
- Schedule quickly! The early bird gets the worm for a lot of projects as most are time-sensitive.
- Make sure to find a quiet place with a good connection. If your connection is faulty or drops, you may not be able to complete or reschedule the call.
- Avoid having tabs open and typing while on the call.
- Make sure to block off the time! Taking other calls, answering messages, or getting in the car lead to canceled calls.
- Read the requirements provided by your Zintro project manager before a call! Some projects may require the use of a desktop computer so dialing in on a phone may not work and the call may be canceled.
- Be honest from start to finish! AI and search engines make it easy to look up answers on the fly. Discrepancies between answers and suspicious behavior may lead to investigations and withholding of payment.
